Music for your podcast & BTR clip-Tee Morris & Arlene Radasky
Welcome to Podioracket.com, Episode 15!
As you probably know by now, Podioracket’s Blog Talk Radio Extension continues to move at a mad pace, and brings you extended LIVE interviews and give-aways with some of your favorite authors.
In this episode, we’re going to grab a clip from a recent BTR show. Rhonda interviewed Tee Morris, the author of Billibub Baddings & MOREVI about his new book, All A Twitter.
Rhonda also sat down with Arlene Radasky to talk about one aspect of Podiobooks 2.0 — getting rights to the music that accompanies an audio book.

The discussion of podcast music was really interesting – thanks for that.
There are several sites that provide CC-licenced music suitable for podcasts. Some even allow commercial use, but others may require contact with the band or publisher to come to some arrangement.
As a starting point, you could try http://www.podsafeaudio.com or the very flexible and easy to use http://www.jamendo.com (which has some great music for free download even if you don’t want it for your podcast!). Jamendo also have commercial options built into their site so you don’t necessarily need to contact anyone else.

Mick, Thanks for the links! I’ll also add them into the Tips & Resources page we keep. We have links to many Sound Libraries there and these will fit in well.
I also used http://www.podsafeaudio.com to find the band who provided my music and then contacted them for permission to sell the book and still include it. They generously agreed.
There is some great music on that site.
