The Show’s Shaping up: Interviews, Contests and News
We will be formally announcing this site within the next week. Even without a formal announcement, some news and contest information is already filtering in from enterprising authors who really know their thing. More information will be provided in the upcoming podcast, but here’s a little sample of what’s coming
INTERVIEWS:
Michele Roger new horror novel Dark Matter debuts on Podiobooks.com on the auspiciously dated Friday, March 13th! Wait for her interview and learn a little more about what is yet to come. Here’s her quick bio. We already know she has a good sense of humor:
“Michele is a harpy (no really, her day job is teaching harp and music.) But her bad taste in fashion and her hotheaded temper confirm the notion. She currently resides in Michigan with her husband, two children, three cats and a polar bear of a dog called Lulu.”

CONTESTS:
Check out Drew Beatty’s contest for Lost Gods. He has announced really unique prizes.
Here’s a little info about the prizes in his own words:
“As for the Prizes, well, I have an interesting idea. When the book goes to print, I will be using the spider image as the focus of the cover, BUT, for extra special prizes, I will make up three alternative covers. These will be limited to ONE COPY EACH! So, if you win, you will be the owner of a unique, ONE OF A KIND copy of Lost Gods, signed personally to you from yours truly. So, you can have the only copy with Puck, Coyote or Kanene gracing the cover. I think that is pretty cool.”
Our own Rhonda R. Carpenter will be having The Mark of a Druid contest every two weeks until the end of the year. To learn about the current contest you can go to her web site www.themarkofadruid.com, follow her on twitter:@rhondacarpenter, or join her group on Facebook. Prizes have already included signed copies of the book and posters signed by the cover artist, jewelry, and celtic music.
NEWS:
James Melzer is making a racket with The Zombie Chronicles. He recently won a Dead Letter Award for Best Series-Written from Mail Order Zombie. Congratulations to him. Learn more about the award and check out his video trailer (about 8 minutes long).
TIPS:
Arlene Radasky, author of The Fox, has a little advice for anyone planning to podcast their novel or currently in the process.
We’re expecting more tips from other experienced authors and I expect to hear more but shhhh, it’s a secret for now.
